Important Changes Coming to the Motor Insurance Database

The Motor Insurers’ Bureau (MIB) is transitioning its industry services to a new cloud-based platform named Navigate.
The first service to migrate will be the Motor Insurance Database (MID), with all customer data moving to the new platform starting April 29.
Between April 22 and April 26, the MIB will contact all MID users, providing a link to set up their account on the Navigate platform. Look out for an email from noreply@identity.mib.org.uk, sent exclusively to registered MID contacts. Ensure your MID contact details are current to maintain active access; inactive or locked accounts won’t receive this communication.
Please note, between April 26 and April 28, record updates will be temporarily unavailable until the platform transition completes.
While the new platform will sport a fresh interface, existing users will find it intuitive, with no significant changes to the user experience.
To assist users in adapting to the new system, the MIB is creating training videos and user guides. Refer to the resources below:
